About Me
I am Lightwave, one of the most sought-after house DJs in the Midwest. My journey in music began decades ago, deep in the underground rave scene of the 90s. Back then, under a different name, I spent countless nights under the stars, blending trance and breaks to create unforgettable atmospheres where people could lose themselves in the music.
After years away from the scene, I stepped away from the decks to focus on life, family, and faith. But the call to music never left me. Now, I’ve come out of retirement with a new purpose: to bring music with a message – sounds that carry hope, purpose, and truth.
Lightwave isn’t just about beats and drops; it’s about transformation. Every track I mix is chosen to create moments of freedom, joy, and awakening. My sets fuse driving house rhythms, euphoric trance melodies, and breaks that keep your spirit and feet moving. But beyond the music itself, there is always a deeper purpose behind every beat I play: to point hearts toward Jesus, the ultimate solution to today’s struggles.
